The successful completion of the Mo-Da pressure test project
At present, pipeline cleaning and pressure test project for Mo-Da bid section XI, undertaken by our company, completed successfully. This project has the length of 156 km. The diameter is 813mm and the design pressure is 8.8 Mpa. Started from April 2010 and finished on November 2010, the operation of this project is very difficult because its long duration of construction, cold weather, marsh in the most of the project site and the ice block phenomenon happened for several times. Mo-Da pressure test project is ranked as the key project in 2010 by our company.
At the primary stage of the construction, the project encountered the unprecedented difficulties. It was on the first time of the pipeline cleaning that they discovered the ice block phenomenon because of the severe-cold from Stake 30 to Stake 39 at Sanxing Town- Lindian section. Project Manager He Xincai faced difficulties and didn’t hold back. He united and leaded project technician Zhang Hua, group leaders Yang Louhua, Liu Guangyin, Lu Jiliang, Pan Yinhe and other project management personnels. Considering the company’s interst as the foundation, they insisted on carrying forward the spirit of the hard-working and tolerant of hardship, made concerted effort, suggested the solution and overcome the harsh natural environment, which ensured the smooth construction of the project.
Due to cold weather, low temperature and the heavy snow in the northeast region, it happened again the ice block phenomenon during the period of the water sweeping. Pressure Testing Branch manager Shang Guangbo took pains to convey greeting and guidance on the scene, braving freezing temperatures. He ate and lived together with the employees of project up to a month. Under the direction of Manager Shang, the staff of the project united as one, cooperated actively, not afraid of pains and fatigue, worked overtime in a hurry to rush period day and night and finally succeded in completing the construction task.
The Mo-Da pipeline trajectory of 155 km scattered the diligent sweat of Zhongtuo people, which proved powerfully again that Zhongtuo team is a professional team who has the courage to fight, is good at fighting, can fight the hard battle and gain the battle.
